Sounds like that F-14 probably came out with rubber front tires, and steel on the rear. Later, probably after the end of World War 2, it was converted to rubber rears by cutting off the steel wheels and welding rims onto the spokes. Some of the guys that did this work were good at it. Those tractors also came out on round spoke wheels, and cast iron wheels with demountable rims. Similar to a C or H. The ones with the cast wheels are the most desirable for collectors.
