Looked at a 40 H Friday. No fenders, belt pulley gone, tin was straight, hitch was all there to include swinging drawbar, magneto, most of battery box, ran good, transmission and clutch was in good condition. Tires need replaced fairly soon. All in all pretty good shape, easy restoration, asking $1500. Think this is a little over market. Think $1100-1200 max is more like it. Would have given $1000 right then. Comments
