Hi Jon, yes there was a version for the C & SC that connected to the rear axles. Not sure of the model number but it was C-?? and 6ft cut.
In late 50's replaced it with the 7ft 3pt hitch version model C-28, I think. It is still in the corner of my brother's shed.
Hugh is correct they were the best sickle mowers until the NH haybines.
