We had a 45andI sppose the knotters are about the same. WEverything had to be right or it would not tie, but if it was right it did a good job. Make sure the bill-hook is smooth and clean, and the twine knife is sharp and positioned correctly. Another thing we found out is that the rolls the 45 had for the twine to go through and hold some tension on the twine had to drag a little. Don't know if the 37 has them or what it has.
