Frank, The tractor serial number you provided is a 1940. The other number is a casting number and doesn't do us much good. Look on the right side of the engine above the dist./mag and under the #1 spark plug for a flat area and look there for a number that starts out with FBH. That's the engine number and post it. Someone will be able to tell you that tractor approx age. Sometimes the numbers match sometimes not. But usually are pretty close.
