Geez, I"m a little out of my element with an F-20. I know that they have a "drop box", the housing that holds the bull gear and associated bearings. There should be a bearing on either side of the bull gear on the axle shaft. The bearings would be internal and there will be a seal where the axle shaft comes out of the housing. Now, I imagine that the wheel would have to come off. Beyond that I"m just not sure how the F-20 was constructed. If you"re lucky, there may be a flange that you can remove to get at the seal. There should be some way to snug up the bearings as well. Again, I imagine that it has opposing tapered roller bearings, like a wagon wheel. What does you shop manual show? What kind of manual is it? Some manuals don"t show some things because they assume that you already know all that. Thanks a lot, huh? If you jack up the tractor, does the wheel have any up-and-down play? That will cause a seal to leak. Gotta fix that before replacing the seal. I"m guessing that you can tell that it"s not leaking from anywhere else around that area? I believe that there is a gasket in between the cover and the drop box housing. How big of a leak is it? I don"t know if I"ve helped, but maybe this gives you a place to start. Let me know what"s going on. Paul

I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
