Cub value

I am looking at a Cub forsale down the road from me. I am not sure of the year but I believe it is not too early maybe 50's it has single fast hitch and a large "IH" emplem on the top center of the grill. The tractor comes with full set of cultivators and single bottom fast hitch plow. The tractor looks like it was always stored in side it still has original paint and dealers decale. Motor seems to run good. He is asking $2500.00. I feel that for this area that price is "top buck". Would offering $2000, be unreasonable?
