With enough ingenuity, tools, and materials, ANYTHING is possible. How easy will it be? That's another question.

For the half tracks, there will be an axle with tires on it to spread out and tension the tracks. Normally this is mounted under the belly of the tractor. There may also be one or two sets of "bogey wheels" to spread the weight of the tractor out on the tracks.
