cub sickle color

What color should the sickle bar mower for a Farmall Cub be painted (I think it is a #22)? I think it is some shade of dark blue, but I don't know what specific color it is supposed to be.
I am in the process of rebuilding / restoring a sickle mower for my father in law (It's a surprise).
Also, can the ledger plates on the rock gueards be replaced? The sickle sat outside for years, and although the rock guards are in decent shape (just rusty) the ledger plates are deeply pitted. I priced new guards, and they are around 7 dollars a piece (19 needed). Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
