I use an H with a snow plow frame and a manually angled, hyd lift blade - calcium chloride filled tires plus one set of weights plus chains. Never had a problem. Haven't faced one with the H yet but one year we got a 17" snowfall. I know that's piddlin' compared to what some forum participants face but I got an H so it could handle something that heavy. What is the heaviest snowfall you imagine facing? For most of our snowfalls, a cub may have been a better choice for me but I do other work for which I'm grateful for the heavier tractor.
