McCormick Deering 10-20

I have a question about a 10-20 McCormick Deering tractor we are restoring.

#1 Where on the engine can you find the what class of tractor it is and when it was built?

#2 We have a problem with the transission. We can shift the gears into 3rd, 2nd, and 1st
however when we shift back into neutral the tractor continues in 2nd(or whatever the gear you
were in)

Also, when we put the gear into reverse the tractor does not move at all and the engine will stall.

If theres anyone out there who has a 10-20 MC you help will be very helpfull.
