Several shifters made for those tractors. From
middle to later 40's and early 50's the change from double bend to one bend was to keep from hitting underseat battery box when supers started using those.Single bend was on some before also.
The single bend for stage 2 SM had top lay more to left side of tractor.Dad purchased a shifter from IH to replace his in 60's and it had single bend.
