Going by the seat of my pants here, so if someone has better info tell him. Take the left lite off of left corner of cab (black painted piece lite fits in). You'll see an adjustment bolt pointing forward. Has a screw driver slot in it. A 1/2 wrench will lossen clamp around bolt. With tractor shut off push in clutch pedal, 1" or 1 1/2" of free travel should be where clutch pedal touchs under side of dash. Not sure which way to turn adjusting bolt, you'll figure it out. Tighen clamp when done. Now go to the right side of center section and linkage is there for trany brake. The pin towrds the back has a hair pin clip in it. Take the round pin out of clevis. Have someone push in the clutch pedal to the floor, tractor running. Move arm that comes out of bottom cover same direction as clevis (That pushes brake pad against a gear in the trany). Adjust clevis so when you line up holes in clevis and arm, the clevis holes go 1/4 farther than the arm hole. That will give it a preload on the gear. When you shift these tractors, step in clutch only enough to disengage clutch, wait for tractor to stop moving, then step in more if gears still grinding. If you step in all the way right away it wears out trany brake pad faster. The TA has a chorme shaft right behind this clutch adjusting rod. On this chrome shaft is a snapring. When the TA lever is moved on the dash the valve will go up and down. The snap ring should just touch the MCV housing when down and have a measurment of 1 9/64" when up. Move cable adjustment on the fire wall to get these measurements. You asked for detail. Sorry if I bored someone. Good luck.
