The diesel engine is rated at 62 HP (PTO) and the gas engine is rated at 59 HP (PTO). They were built from 1973-1978. They are good tractors, nice hydraulics, 3 point, and steering. The hydraulic brakes are pricey to fix and a pain to work on, but work real good when working properly. The emergency brake is a fairly big job to fix and commonly will be not working on used ones that you find. People forget they are on and run them anyway, thus tearing up the brake band inside the tranny. As far as fuel economy, the diesels are great. I don't know about the gas engine, but why buy gas tractors anyway with the fuel prices the way they are?
