frozen up clutch?

I walked pass my barn yesterday and thought I would see if the old M would crank since in has set about a month. Well it fired right off, then I tried to back it out from the barn. It seem as though the clutch would not engage. What is the best way to free it up? My son said it worked fine last time he drove it. The gears grind when I try any gear. Thanks in advance.
