The distributer is a delco-remy. I am not sure if they cam from the catory with them or not. My grandpa's 49 C came with an IH distributer. I will bet that c came with a mag and someone changed it to the Distributer. My 40 Farmall B has the distributer that you are talking about and thay are a pretty nice distributer. My grandpa's c has the covers as well. Thats my 2 cents worth for what it matters.
