Go out and buy or build the cherry picker. I've done time with having a loader tractor being my only source of lifting power....Unless this is a one-time project, you'll find so many uses in your shop for the cherry picker that you'll think it's great not to have to fire up the loader tractor every time you want to lift something.

By the way, there are heavier-duty cherry pickers available. If you lack the equipment/skills to build yourself, you could no doubt have a local welding shop build you one that would be WAY stronger than any of the cheap foreign-built ones that are commonly sold.
