I am about to bid on a very nice 184 lowboy. It runs great and looks good the problem is the transmission. ( I think ) it makes a lot of bad sounds when the clutch is released. Even in neutral. All the gears seem to work (not totaly sure, I didn't move it much), but there is bad grinding and crunching noises going on inside. My question is, are these hard to work on, any special tools needed, and are the parts available for these little tractors. I have worked on many different types of tractors but I have never even seen one of these around here much less work on one. Any advise before buying this neat little monster would be greatly appreciated. I would like to sell it when I am done so if anyone would be interested I will post it on Yesterdays tractors Photo ads. That is if I get it. Thank you,
