Getting started on rebuilding our old Farmall B,or maybe BN don't know how to tell the difference, the serial # tag is long gone. Is there any way to tell the year, I'm curious? This little machine has done a ton of work and its getting tired. We've done a lot of work to it to make it more rugged in the woods, where its mainly used.Replaced front bolster with a heavier homemade steel one, broke the old cast one right off one day, stipped off everything but bare nec. and put a gaurd on the front grill and on one side to protect wires. This tractor is for work, not parades. Can the rest of the tractor take it if I rebuild the engine a little stronger than original or should I just keep it stock? Mostly I would like to just do a little head work to make it breath better. The rest of the tractor seems pretty strong as it will pull our little H&S 185 speader, won't pull the Knight 8018 "go figure".
