The Depy. of Highways where I'm from used the 240 Utility and the 404 which both tractors were almost the same thing only difference is that the 404 had the C-135 engine and the sheet metal was different, and the 240 had the C-123 but they both had the very same transmission and Rearend. Both had straight 4 speed trans.
