Bill,
Make sure the rebuild kit you get has 12 discs in it. The standard kit my neighbor got from our local dealer only had 9 discs and the PTO didn't last but about a year before he had to rebuild it again. Get the parts guy at your Case / IH dealer to pull up a pix of the PTO final drive and you'll see there should be 12 discs in the final.
