Well now you're gettin smart. Get a GOOD tractor. Put live MxW on Puffy, 1940 M and it works fine, will lift the front of the tractor off the ground with the three point bale spike, no problems, no changes. The 1949 loader M put a MxW pump on about two years ago, with power steering, auxilary tank for bigger capacity, Westendorf TA26 belly mount loader, no problems, no changes. I looked at the front covers of these 50-60 year old tractors and thought "Ya right, that's coming off" and just went ahead and put them together. Not saying I WON't have trouble with them, but haven't so far.
