From my experiences with the 9 speed trans. everything sounds ok. I believe what it does is splits 4th and 5th gear several times. Please correct me somebody if I am wrong. The value to have it depends on what you plan to do with the tractor. I am not sure about the engine though. Someone else should be able to help on that one.
