Thanks Jim, For yearssssssss and especially when growing up, many many people such as my Grandpa and Uncles took time to teach me and likewise, when I first started restoring tractors mane people helped me, so I figure this is payback time for which I in turn am glad to try n help others. HOWEVER, Im not very experienced with Farmalls so have to offer a lot of generic theoretical advice as opposed to more specific advice which it appears Bob M (Listen to himmmmmm) and many other fine gentlemen can. Still in line with the old proverb, " Feed a man a fish and you feed him a meal, but teach him how to fish and you feed him for life" I try n explain the theory whereby a reader can understand how things work and troubleshhot them with no wiring schematic at all. Im retired from engineering and now a solo Country Lawyer and mostly into John Deeres. I used to write electrical technical articles for the Green Magazine and present Seminars at the bigger national John Deere shows, but lots of this sparky stuff is similar on most tractors. Have a nice day, good luck n God Bless John T Nordhoff in Indiana, "Old fashioned conservative fuddy duddy"
