I have run gassers for years and i do not find them any harder on fuel then a diesel If it is tuned correctly and the correct fuel is used in it there is not enough to worry about . And when something goes wrong with a diesel like the injection pump or injectors or it need an overhaul the gasser is a whole bunch cheeper to rebuild and if you are not going to plow 150 acres and disc it three time there is NO DOUBT in my mind that it would be a gasser Back when everybody went from gas to diesel there was a big price gap between the two Like gas was back then thiry cents a gallon and diesel was 17 cents a gallon and the tractors were getting bigger and to get a gasser to the 100 hp mark they needed to make a bigger gasser to keep up with the bigger diesels and yes a diesel is more fuel effcent and will last longer . As a chore tractor that will start in any weather as long as it has a good battery and is tuned the gasser is the way to go . All of my dairy farmer friends and customers have gassers for chore tractors and run them everyday . it is alot easier to get a gasser fired up on them cold mornings to move round bales or grind feed or haul manuar or move the snow. Now even though i am Red all the way thru i do not care for the 806 gasser but 756 on down are fine and for mowing and using a blade or loader i would say no more the 3 gal and hour and my 806 Diesel will use that much mowen and with the price of diesel at about the price of gas and for awhiel it was the price of high test around here.

With Ben, anyway, I can tell! He'll be busy working and I’m handing him tools and he says, "give me that..." and I’ve already got it in his hand or "hand me that....."and I’ve got the portable light right where he needed it placed to see. "Run in the house and get me a...."as I open th
