I think you're barking up the wrong tree.

If you are not getting voltage at the big fat cable on the starter, it's NOT the starter switch. Touch one end of the tester to the fat cable, and the other to anywhere on the frame. It should read between 12 and 13 Volts, or it should at least light up, depending on what kind of tester you have.

No light, no volts. You can change starter switches until you're blue in the face, and die of old age, and it won't fix the problem.
