Hmmm.... It just doesn"t seem like those drums would have worn that much, but I suppose it could be. It seems like you"d see a ridge on the edge of the drum then. I wonder if the lining material from CIH is not thick enough. Whatever the cause is, the problem remains. I"m guessing that it would be tough to get new drums, although you could build them up with weld and turn them down on a lathe. That wouldn"t be easy, because when you weld on cast, the surface gets really hard and likes to ruin lathe bits. So, barring other cam problems, my vote would be for thicker lining material, or shortening the band a bit. Just my thoughts. Paul
