I wouldn"t use Bars Leak again on a bet! I used it years ago in my F12 radiator thinking it would seal a water jacket leak in the head. It didn"t stop the leak. What it did do was gum up the cooling system. In case you"ve never used the stuff it consists of about 70% syrup and 30% pellets about the size of rabbit feed pellets. The pellets melt and stick to anything they come into contact with. I"m not sure they make it for the application you"re talking about, but I still wouldn"t use it. I"m not sure what the H uses for an axle seal but I would suggest replacing what belongs there, same with the flang gasket for the belt pulley.
