I don't know how many possibillities you want for the starting problem. The other things mentioned are things to check and if they do check out ok then another thing could be is that the cylinders are so dry and glazed that it lost its compression. This comes from sitting to long and using to much starting fluid before fuel gets there. This may explain the turning over easy with a charger. If this is the case then you could pull the nozzles out and put some oil in each cylinder and crank it over(with nozzles out)to get the rings sealed to the sleeve, then put it back together and see how it cranks over, and it should make noise with some fire juice squirted in it.
