Tri-ribbed tires are good for directional control in soil. Most are four ply or four ply rated belted tires. If the work intended is Decomposed Granite, or aggrigate, I would choose a 6 or 8ply rated tire with 5 ribs, or a radial light truck tire (looks aren't everything) again with 6-8ply rating. Keeping them fairly hard 35-40 psi will reduce steering effort on some surfaces, and softer pressures will prove easier to steer on other surfaces. Good luck,
