You check the lube level on the left side of the trans. There is a plug there, in front of the left rear tire, hidden behind the left side brake rod.
It takes 90wt. gear lube.
It drains at the back of the tractor, on the side of the PTO, where you will see a plug.
Hugh McKay says to get the trans full (to the check level), then add another quart. I don't disagree with that. "Good advice", says I.
