OK, I won't laugh at you, basically because you have found what some of us already know, the hydraulics on these old Farmalls are very forgiving and will function just fine with just about anything you can pour in it. To do it right though, I would pull the drain plug on the bottom of the pump and let it drain for several hours, maybe overnight. Then refill. The original specs called for non-detergent motor oil, 30wt warm weather, 20 wt cooler weather, and 10wt for extreme cold. It would be a hassle I think to keep changing it all the time depending on the weather, so if you want you can put Hy-TRAN in it, or the equivalant any manufacturer. My dad used to put John Deere hydraulic oil in his H, and the tractor never knew the difference.
