Is the gear noise coming from the transmission or the final drive. My B makes a lot of noise especially in the left final drive gears. All those old tractor's gears made noise because they are simple spur gears and they are inherently noising as opposed to helical gears. I think those final drive's make a lot of noise because of the large gear teeth, the large ratio, and the large bull gear that can resonate. Roger
