It has been a few years since I did it, but as I recall one of mine came off easily and the other required a homemade puller. I just used PB blaster to keep it soaked for a few days and then rigged an old steering wheel puller to a 2x4 that I attached to the wheels at the outer ends and pushed on the end of the axle. I used the puller to keep as much tension as I dared on the 2x4 and just hit around the edge with a sledge hammer. Took awhile and I lost some weight doing it, but it worked.
