The torque is 80 to 90 ft-lbs. Start in the center of the head and tighten the bolts equally in both directions until snug. Then use your torque wrench and start at 25 ft-lbs and use the same procedure starting in the center. Then increase the torque to 35-40 ft-lbs and use the same procedure, then keep increasing every 10 to 15 ft-lbs until you reach the max. Some gasket manufactures recommend retorqing after the engine is heated up. Probably is a good idea and recheck your valve clearances too. Hal
