As CNKS has suggested, do not drive a screwdriver in between the head and block. This would do serious damage to your head and block. I wouldn't use any heat either. You need to insert a thin blade putty knife between the head and the gasket. You need to be patient, someone may have coated the head gasket with some permatex. I have heard in some cases the engine was started to free a cylinder head. I've never used this. Did you ever find antifreeze in your engine oil? Hal
