I'm restoring a late model IH 140, which is equipped with a Zenith carburetor. The upper body of the carb has a crudely repaired break in it that leaks. Also, the threads are stripped at the fuel line fitting intake. It leaks there also. I would like to replace the carb. I would like some advice on a replacement. Are rebuilt Zenith carbs available that have high quality rebuild parts in it? I've heard that some of the rebuild kits (for the Cub) are of poor quality. Also, does anyone have experience with the after-market carbs that are available from various sources? Your comments are appreciated. Thanks, Steve
