It happened on my M. I removed the distributor cover and opened the breaker chamber on the magneto to replace the points. When I installed the new points I had to crank the engine over to get the breaker arm cam on its high spot so I could gap the points. I reinstalled the breaker chamber cover and the distributor, and it was out of time. It can happen.
