At the time I was having trouble understanding what the manual said to do in order to get it back in time. I opened the chamber back up and cranked the engine by hand until the #1 cylinder was at TDC and the timing mark was on the first notch. I then put the breaker chamber back on and checked that the rotor pointed to the #1 wire on the cap. It did, so I was all set.
