Rearend, engine combos.

Have heard that an IH and DT 466 motor will bolt right up to a 706 gas rearend. This is done for a lighter weight. Then used the framerails and sheetmetal off of a 9-1066 and you have youself a pulling tractor. Also to get bigger cubes can I use pistons and rods from a jd? If so which parts? Is any of this possible? Need help putting together a hot farm puller and figured peicing a tractor together is cheaper than trying to buy the whole tractor. 9-1066 tractors are bringing a lot of money at auctions right now, and i am looking to get into the sport cheapest way possible.
