McCormick W6 Carburetor

Hey Just getting ready to purchase a carburetor kit from the local auto parts store and I was wondering what make of carburetor is on my 1951 McCormick W6. Is it a unit designed and manufactured by IH or is it a part that was contracted out like what Case did when they put Marvel& Schuber carbs on there tractors. I just want to make sure that I don't get jerked around and that I get the right part in the end. Thanks for your input and take care.
