It should be easy to follow the line from the secondary filter to the injector pump to find the right line to crack. You need to crack the line at the injector pump and let the air out. Even if you bleed out the filters, there's an air pocket trapped in that line, and diesel injector pumps are not good at moving air. If you crack the line and there's no fuel running, you didn't achieve anything. I'm just going by the recent experience Dad and I had changing the fuel filters on his big diesels. The 856 doesn't have a priming pump on the injector pump either, and we had a heckuva time getting it running. We ended up cracking the supply line at the injector pump just as I described, and then it fired right up.
