I bought this sa a while back and have started the tractor restoration part. Lots of thanks to all that have helped me along the way, CNKS, Rod, Paul and all others . Hopefully I can finish it off this winter as everything is about ready to be reassembled, another week or 2 on the tin. I was wondering what might be the easiest way to clean and paint the implements. I've got a double plow, full cultivators, mid mount sickle bar mower, side planter/dresser and a front blade. The thought of wheeling these pieces to steel before priming makes me cringe. Does any one have a better idea short of dipping or wholesale sandblasting, like at a ship yard or somewhere? I was wondering about these "rust converter paints" that I read about here. Has anyone tried them on rusted implements and if so, how are they holding up? Thank You, scott#2
