Duane Look for bent components on your wide front end.If these conditions exist, a hydraulic press may be needed to attempt to straighten the tubes. Having said that, the sliders are probably corroded by oxidation or dirt. Use a product like WD-40 to spray between the tube surfaces to hopefully loosen the components. Diesel fuel will also work, but it is Flammable. Let the lubricated front end set overnite. Use a 2 to 4 pound hammer to strike the outside tube jarring the corrosion loose. An oxygen-ace. torch (rosebud) can be used to heat the outside tube to slightly expand it. Be careful not to overheat(read Distort or Melt) the tubes. The outward expansion of the outside tube should free the inside sliders. When you have sucessfully removed the sliders, remove the corrosion and apply a coat of anti-seize or similar product to all contact surfaces. Ray Medley
