My Grandfather bought an 856 D custoum New in 1968 I belive. He Still has this tractor and it is one of the nicest tractors he has. We estimate the tractor to have around 10000 hours on it. A couple years a go he had someone put new berings in the motor and he has put a new clutch and torque in it other wise it has not been touched. The tractor still dose most of the baling, is put on the discbine, and any other odd job it is needed for.
