Ross, I just put a new Zenith on my Super A, started it for the first time just yesterday, and right out of the box, there was gas running out of the carb. Took it off, opened it up, found that the floats were not even set equally. My manual calls for 1 5/32, but mindful of City Boy's carb problem, I set them to 1 9/32, and the gas spillage ceased. Runs clean at speed, but still has some black smoke at idle, but I haven't played with the idle mixture correctly yet. I read in my manual today at work (don't tell the boss!) that backing the screw OUT leans the idle. I thought it was the other way around yesterday. Do you see any drips from the carb when you have her running?
