My dad and uncle bought it new in the spring of 54 a hold over from 53. Plowed with it for years, wore out a couple of mounted pickers and cultivated all the corn with a 4 row cultivator up until the 80's. The motor has never been apart, still has the warrenty wires on the govener housing. Only thing that's been done is replace the rear axle bearings after one went out planting corn years ago. It spends all its time under the picker now so it doesent get much use anymore.
