504 gas burner

Just wanted some opinions on a 504 gas row crop. There is one coming up on a sale. NF, fenders, 3 point, 1962 model. We had one when I was growing up. My dad was told it had 45 hp, which was about what an "M" was supposed to have. He never thought it would do the work of an "M" in the field though. We had a loader on it almost all the time. It was a very nice tractor when he bought it (about 1971) had flat top IH fenders with lights and a 3 point. What kind of experience has anyone else had with these tractors?
