Our M is a 1939, and was white at one time. No, we know that our tractor was painted white, that"s not the confusion. Before our tractor was red, it was yellow, because yes, it was owned by a county. But before they had it, it was white. We"re thinking the most likely thing is that the first owner ordered the tractor white from the factory, or there actually were white M"s. We know a few different tractor "experts" around and we plan on asking them in the near future.

It was powered by either a high-compression gas engine or a distillate version with lower compression.
