Jim: If you look at the Cub Manual Server under Implement and Part Sketches you will find a project called Rudi's Battery Box. This will probably be of interest and help you solve your problem. It was precisely the new Group 1 battery sizes that prompted the eventual design of a new battery box to correct the problem. However, you will see that by using a used mouse pad the problem has been by-passed on this particular made to original spec sizes battery box. Here is the actual link, I hope it will work.
